Project
The project to help the Elohim School will consist of rebuilding the school within a period of time to give students a better education and possibly future. Multiple missions will be taken for this process with the help of the Rotary Club, PAMS, and Dr. Pepper.
Karina Donayre
My name is Karina Donayre and I'm a high School student at Oak Park and River Forest High School. I was born in Peru and came to United States at the age of 9. I've always been grateful for all the opportunities I've had in life because I know what some people in Peru have. I remember, when I was little, the people in poverty back in Peru but I specially know what children have to go through if they are in this position. This hits me the most because I had a wonderful childhood and what your childhood is can change or make the person you are. I want to give these kids a better life, let them know that they can do what they want and give them hope.
I'm working on my Gold Award as an Ambassador Girl Scout with PAMS and Dr. Pepper to help rebuild the Elohim School in Peru. I will be finding a sister school in the Oak Park community for the Elohim School. A sister school will be a connection that the Elohim school will have to America. The school will be a support, do activities, fundraisers, and spread the word about the Elohim School.
